Profile

Mireia Valverde is an Associate Professor in the Department of Business Management at the University Rovira i Virgili (URV) and Visiting professor at Cornell University, USA. She studied at the University of Barcelona, University of Limerick (Ireland), Cranfield School of Management (UK) and URV, where she read her doctoral thesis on the roles of the various actors involved in managing people in organizations.

She has worked in several universities in different countries and is currently in the URV since 2000-01, where she is performing tasks of teaching (undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate), management (area coordinator, secretary and director of the department) and research, heading the group FHOM, recognized by the Government.

Accredited as Full Professor.
